As I drive my car past the third person I’ve seen panhandling on the street today my mind wonders. Over the past few years it seems to me that there has been an increase in the homeless population, or perhaps I’m just more aware. According to the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty, an estimated 2.5 to 3.5 million people are homeless.
